Stiggy's Sports Shop was founded by veteran baseball player and enthusiast Steve Stigler after over 30 years of playing the game.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Steve played high school baseball at LaSalle and Colerain before continuing his career in college at Columbia State Junior College in Tennessee. He later transferred to Xavier University in Cincinnati where he pitched a no hitter. Nearing his forties, Steve still plays 50 to 60 games a year with the Cincinnati CoBALTS and the Charlotte Kings.
Steve continued his passion for baseball by selling high-end training equipment for Did You Sports and running baseball camps nationwide for Griffey International Baseball School. Through his involvment with over 150 baseball camps and 500 high school and college coaches—and attendance at numerous coach's clinics—Steve has learned which training products work and which do not.
This knowledge, coupled with his passion for the game of baseball, led Steve to found Stiggy’s Sports Shop. He wanted to start a business that would help players of all ages become better ball players and, with Stiggy’s Sports Shop, he has done just that.
